The Glooscap Heritage Centre is offering an Online Learning Campus who wish to drop in and take advantage of our newest programming.

Our Learning Campus will be held at our Glooscap Learning Annex facility directly next to the our main building.(Old Capricorn Restaurant)

Registration is FREE and will be held every Wednesday from 10:00am - 4:00pm hosted by Pam Hill and Denice Stephens.

Everyone is welcome to to sign up for our free learning courses, including Mircosoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook, as well as courses that will give you a certificate! There are also a variety of fantastic business and soft skill courses available too.

You can also arrange to take the courses at the comfort from your own home!

Joe Sylliboy will be hosting a Hand Drum making workshop on February 16th, 2012 from 6:30 - 8:30pm. There will also be an optional day the following week to paint your hand drum on Feb 23rd from 6:30 - 8:30pm. The total cost is $100.00, whether you choose to paint your drum or not.

Join former Chief of Bear River and owner of Beartown Baskets Greg McEwan to learn how to make your own ash basket.  Greg will supply all the materials you need and demonstrate all the processes involved in turning a raw piece of wood into splints/handles and the weaving technique. 

The course will run from 9-4 Saturday, March 24 and 9-1pm Sunday, March 25.

Cost is $140 and must be paid with registration.  If booking online please call as well to make credit card payment or make arrangements for an invoice.  Payment can also be made in cash, debit or credit in person.
