Staff of the Visitor Information Centre have achieved nationally recognized certification and is proud to offer visitors outstanding customer service. The Visitor Information Counsellors are available to provide details of not only the region, but also all of the scenic travel ways of Nova Scotia. Utilize the vast knowledge of the Visitor Information Counsellor to help you plan your itinerary while visiting the province taking in various events and activities for all ages.
The Glooscap Heritage Centre is located on the Glooscap Trail, one of Nova Scotia's scenic travel ways, which runs along the famous Bay of Fundy. Glooscap is best known for the legends which focus on his affect on the Bay and its rugged coastline. During your visit to the Centre, you will have the opportunity to learn about how Glooscap shaped much of the landscape of Nova Scotia.

While in the Visitor Information Centre, pick up the "Glooscap's Landmarks" brochure and follow the Glooscap legends through some of the province's most picturesque landmarks along the Bay of Fundy. Also, take time to learn about Central Nova Scotia and all it has to offer its visitors. From the world's highest tides to the warmest beaches north of the Carolinas, it is easy to see why Glooscap and the Mi'kmaq have called this part of the world home for many generations.
